Silas Gripp is the doctor for this little village. He is on his way out to make a house call. It is such a lovely day that he decided to walk for the exercise and not use the horse and buggy. Mrs Gripp is puttering around in the garden. It is market day in the village so the farmer is taking the last of his pumpkins to market. A lady and her little girl are heading home from the market.
