My mom told me that when she was a little girl growing up in Baltimore, she and her sisters would go down the street and watch the dancers dancing to the German music through the fence. It is a late Saturday afternoon, and the shops are getting ready to close for the weekend. The boy in front of the restaurant has been sent by his dad to buy a pail of beer to take home to him.
