Ella lives at and owns The Herbery along with her young family. It is late summer, and she is busy weeding and harvesting her vast gardens. The bees from her three hives help pollinate the herbs and flowers.The new baby is fast asleep in her Moses basket while the loyal, pet dog keeps watch. The little twins are already learning to do chores in the gardens.

Ella will take the herbs and flowers into the kitchen, which is located in the original stone portion of the house and hang them from the beams to dry. After they are completely dry, she will then use them in her wonderful potpourris, tussy mussies, dried bouquets and, of course, cooking and medicinal herbs.
