Christmas is coming fast to this little seaside village. Everyone is busy running errands, buying their Christmas trees, and dreaming about the toys that will be under the tree come Christmas morning. Mrs. Tinker of Tinker's Mercantile has sent her granddaughter across the street to get pastries for their afternoon tea. Ben, who is employed by the Tinkers, is helping the captain's wife carry her purchases out to her sleigh. The man at The Black Dog is rolling kegs of beer down the basement steps.
